Smartfoam Sealing Cord
Flexible cords made of closed-cell polyethylene foam for sealing dynamically loaded joints and cracks. The cord is dark grey in color, round in shape, and highly elastic. Smartfoam sealing cord does not absorb moisture or water, has excellent thermal insulation properties, and is resistant to alkaline solutions.

USAGE
- Expansion joint filler for cast floors
- For joints when installing windows and frames
- Sealing panels in frames
- For inter-panel joints
- For all joints created in construction
INSTALLATION
Press the sealing cord into the joint to the required depth using a suitable blunt tool. The diameter of the cord should be approximately 25% larger than the width of the joint. Then cover the cord with joint sealant.
NOT SUITABLE FOR USE:
- Thermal insulation of low- and high-pressure steam distribution systems
- Outdoors without surface protection from weathering and UV radiation
- In places where the ambient air temperature exceeds 90 ℃
